Comfortable stay with a lively bar atmosphere
I stayed in a Twin Room with Private Bathroom for one night and found the room to be clean and well-maintained. The bar area was a nice feature, offering a variety of drinks without needing to head out, although it did get a bit loud at times. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant experience. if you're looking for a quiet stay, you might want to take note of the late-night activity.

We had a lovely family meal at the hotel's restaurant with portions that were huge and delicious. Even our fussy eater and the vegan diners were impressed by the flexible menu options. The service was truly top-notch, making it a memorable dining experience.
In my wife’s opinion, the hotel could really improve by adding a designated kids' play area for families.

Had a fun group vacation! We visited the nearby science center and a famous cathedral. The room was decent, and the bar area was lively. Just a heads-up, shared bathrooms might be a bit crowded at times. great for friends looking for a budget-friendly stay!
One guy at check-in tried to charge us again, even though we had already paid. This was a bit frustrating and awkward, especially since he wasn’t friendly. It put a damper on our arrival.

missingWrote a review on 03 Augdated decor
The place felt worn down, with dated decor throughout the twin room, showing clear signs of neglect, including cracks on the walls and an uncomfortable mattress that sagged. Limited amenities were apparent with only two working plug sockets and no toiletries in the shared bathroom. Noise levels were a consistent issue, as sounds from nearby guests and the boisterous bar made it hard to rest comfortably. Breakfast consisted of only basic options, which didn’t match up with expectations, and the restaurant hours were rather restrictive. it felt like the establishment prioritizes its bar over its hotel accommodations.

the bar was cool and served great food, staff were super friendly, beds were comfy and clean towels were provided. the location is awesome, right east of glasgow. The price was really good for a night!
but there were no toiletries and the place was kinda noisy at night. also, the bathroom could be better, it was basic with no mats and shared with party people below.

Just a commendable fit for a short interlude in Glasgow with excellent value for money. The portions at lunch were huge, and even our picky eater was satisfied. Try to avoid noisy nights if possible.

Decent layout of rooms, decent size for a shared bathroom setup. The overall ambiance carries a lively pub atmosphere, which may appeal to those wanting an active nightlife.
Staying here can be a bit of a challenge. The bar scene ramps up noise levels, especially on weekends, making restful sleep difficult due to thumping music and street noise. Late check-in hours can throw off plans, and the check-in process involves navigating bar chaos rather than a straightforward reception. The shower leaves much to be desired—temperature control struggles, and poor water flow turned rinsing into a lengthy ordeal. The location feels a tad removed, requiring considerable travel time to reach city highlights.
